Guglielmo Marconi

Marconi, the pioneer of wireless communication, was a grandson of the Jameson distillers family and had strong family connections to Enniscorthy in Wexford. In 1901 Marconi House in Rosslare Strand was used as part of Marconi’s transatlantic radio transmission network.
