The Data Leaders Summit 2024 is being hosted by Castlebridge (www.castlebridge.ie).

Castlebridge is the Data Controller for the event. For event accommodation bookings the Data Controller will be the Clayton Whites Hotel Wexford.

We are processing personal data through this website or by phone or email contact for the purposes of registering delegates for the Data Leaders Summit 2024.

The legal basis for processing in this case is that it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject (you) is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract; Where you are booking on behalf of an organisation, it is in our legitimate interests to process your personal data as our contact person within the organisation and also for the purposes of managing the event registration.

We will contact delegates after registration to confirm any special dietary requirements for the purposes of catering. Our legal basis for processing this data is that you will provide explicit consent for the processing of any data which may reveal information relating to health, religious beliefs, or philosophical beliefs. Please note that if we are not able to process information relating to dietary requirements we cannot guarantee appropriate provision will be made in the event catering.

Data relating to individuals which is processed as part of this event registration process will be disclosed to:

• The venue management where necessary for the purposes of ensuring appropriate catering to reflect any special dietary requirements

Any disclosure of data to any other category of recipient will either be on the basis of a court order or other legal obligation or where it is necessary to execute our contract with you for this event.

We do not disclose personal data of delegates to partners or sponsors or any other third party.

We do not transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA for the purposes of this conference registration process.

Castlebridge does make use of a variety of data processors as part of the operation of our business which may require transfers of personal data outside the EU/EEA. Where such transfers are necessary, they are undertaken on the basis of:

• Adequacy Decision in respect of any 3rd country where data is to be transferred
• Standard Contractual Clauses

• We will retain data relating to your registration at this event for 3 months after the event to allow for post-event follow up.
• Where you volunteer a review or recommendation for the event, we will retain this indefinitely, but you can request to have your review/recommendation anonymised.
• Financial information including details of invoices and payments will be retained for 6 years after the calendar year in which the event takes place.
• In the event of an accident or incident at the event, we will retain details of delegates for 10 years as part of the accident report

You have the following rights in respect of data processed for the purposes of this event.

1. You have a right of access to the data, as well as the right to rectify any errors in data or request erasure of data.
2. You may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (www.dataprotection.ie)

Castlebridge does not engage in any automated decision making based on information which you provide as part of this event registration process.
